We really need new computer so maybe we can use this money to reinvent the library. So in the video we can show all the problems with the computers and how slow they are, and use that to make the video funny, or serious. We can also as the librarian what she needs and include it into the three minute video.

We could say our school is the best eco-friendly school is Ontario, were the only school that use solar energy. We can say our school is powered by own solar energy and talk about our switch club. We can ask the member of the switch team to help us out and also Mr. Carpenter.

Why did you rank the projects in the that you did?

            I ranked them like this because I already did netbooks and software, so I wanted to learn something new. So I picked to do web tools 2.0. I also want to learn about more tools on the web.

How would your first project selection best make use of your personal skills and abilities?

            The first project I did was the netbooks and I really know a lot about computers and making, and adding software on to them. So I was very useful to my group. I helped people that needed help, and I gave my inputs for the anti-virus software.

Is there any projects you really don’t thing you are suited for? Why?

            No I would do any projects because I really like to learn more about computers and software, and web tools. This is why I took this class, because it teaches a lot about things I want to learn.

            Diigo is a very useful research tool on the one hand, and a knowledge-sharing community and social content site on the other hand.

A Personal Research Tool

            Diigo can really improve your research productivity. Diigo is a very good tool to use when researching because you can highlight an important line or paragraph. You can also use sticky notes, to stick on the pages that you’re researching. One of the coolest things is that your highlights and sticky notes will stay there every time you come back, just like your book.

A Collaborative Research Platform

            Diigo lets you share your research with friends, teammantes, and your colleagues. It will show all the highlighted points and the sticky so they can know what you have done.

A Social Content Site

            Diigo users use tags to tag their research, so they have a very good community online that has created a wonderful repository of quality content. You can just type in one work that your about to research on and Diigo says ” they can probably get what you want in less time than using search engines, and you may also gain insights from other users”. They also have very good annotating pages online.

A Knowledge-Sharing Community

            Diigo can provide new ways to connect with others who share similar interests. You can find "people like me" - those who are closest to you in interests, or search people by tags or sites to find others who share certain specific interests with you. Once you find someone you like you can add them to your friends list or add them to your watch list.

Evaluation

I was in the net book group, uploading the software and deleting software that weren’t needed. The net books I worked on were 5,15,24.
I would give my self 4 out of 4 on task

I would give my self 4 out of 4 on Creative and critical thinking because I inputted what anti-virus software we should use.
I would give my self 4 out of 4 on Initiative because I used my time in class to finish all my note books.Completion because everything was completed on time.

IDC4U1

I think IDC is going to be a very interesting course because I really like computers, and working with them. Right now I am really enjoying this course because there’s no tests or exams. I don’t think you can improve this course, it should stay the way is it.
